Rania Haider is a Pakistani interdisciplinary artist working primarily in painting, mixed media, and photography. She explores Urdu calligraphy through a contemporary, non-traditional lens, engaging with cultural identity, materiality, and personal narrative. Her practice examines how heritage is carried, translated, and reinterpreted across visual forms, considering the tension between legibility and abstraction. Through rhythm, gesture, and form, her work transforms language into an indexical visual form rather than a tool of direct communication.
