Mariia Charuta
My name is Mariya Charuta, I am a painter and filmmaker originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, now based in Toronto and Miami. I create surrealist dreamscapes employing bright colours and distorted, tortured shapes to document my experiences, good or bad. I primarily work with acrylics on canvas panels, but if the subject calls for more expression I sometimes employ mixed media techniques.
