I am a Dark Expressionist Painter made in Brazil and exported to Toronto. My practice draws on a lifelong relationship with fear, horror, folklore, and occult imagery, not as escape but as the only honest language I have found for what lives inside. I was trained in analog film photography and darkroom production, and those processes live inside how I paint. Surfaces are built through sequential acrylic layering that simulates exposure, degradation, and deterioration. Figures emerge gradually, caught between visibility and collapse. Painting is containment for me. My images tend to not want to be fully seen.
