Photographer

Kian Gannon

Kian Gannon is a Toronto-based photographer whose work focuses on everyday moments and the people surrounding the city’s creative spaces. Often using a variety of lenses and an experimental approach, Kian explores personal narratives through photography. Since beginning his practice in 2021, he has exhibited work in various DIY spaces and is currently developing a large-scale, untitled project.

‘How Anxious Do I Look?’ presents a body of work drawn from daily life and Kian’s ongoing exploration of street photography. This collection stands in sharp contrast to his event and

commissioned photography, shifting away from structured environments toward quieter, more uncertain moments. The series acts as a self-reflective study of his photographic practice, centered on confrontation, social boundaries, and anxiety.
